Theraset PLLA is an injectable collagen-stimulating product made from poly-L-lactic acid, a biodegradable polymer that the body breaks down into water, carbon dioxide and glucose. It is supplied as a granule powder for reconstitution and is available in three vial sizes. It sits in our biostimulator range.

How it works

1. The reconstituted product is injected into the subcutaneous layer.
2. Over the following period the PLLA particles stimulate new collagen production and fibroblast activity.
3. The particles are gradually biodegraded.
4. The source describes an initial course of 3 to 4 sessions.
