Revofil Plus

Revofil Plus is a Korean hyaluronic acid injectable, the middle level of the Revofil line (Fine, Plus, Ultra). It is used for moderate to deep facial wrinkles such as nasolabial folds, to restore facial form, and for skin hydration on the face, neck and décolleté. The gel also contains peptides, amino acids, vitamins and minerals.

Product details

• Base: hyaluronic acid with peptides, amino acids, vitamins and minerals
• Sizes: 1.0 ml × 1 syringe and 2.0 ml × 1 syringe
• Single use only

Treatment schedule

• Initial course: three sessions four weeks apart; maintenance two or three times a year
• Alternative course for some skin: six sessions at two-week intervals, then five or six maintenance sessions a year

Administration

1. Disinfect the area and apply topical or local anaesthetic if needed.
2. Prime the syringe until a droplet appears at the needle tip.
3. Inject into the mid to deep dermis at about 30° along the wrinkle, stopping injection before withdrawing the needle. Avoid overcorrection.
4. Serial puncture, serial threading, linear threading or cross-hatching may be used.
5. Massage gently afterwards; apply an ice pack briefly for swelling.

Injection that is too deep can cause visible lumps or bluish discoloration. Browse other dermal fillers.
