MisAdi Beso
MisAdi Beso is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) gel intended for the lips. It is made with the manufacturer's HED Technology and combines HA with lidocaine, a phosphate buffer and vitamin B12. For background on lip work with injectable gels, see our guide to lip enhancement.
Composition
- Cross-linked hyaluronic acid: 24 mg/ml
- Lidocaine hydrochloride: 3 mg/ml, included to reduce discomfort during injection
- Phosphate-buffered saline, pH 7
- Vitamin B12
Intended use
The gel is designed for lip augmentation, covering lip volume and contouring. The manufacturer describes the formulation as balancing flexibility and support so that the lips keep a natural feel and movement after treatment.
About the formulation
Cross-linking holds the HA in a gel structure so that it keeps its shape in the tissue for longer than non-cross-linked HA. The phosphate buffer keeps the gel at a neutral pH to suit the tissue, and vitamin B12 is added as a supporting ingredient.
