This Ellansé E personalised and cost-effective option is enabled by unique STAT technology in the form of regulated and complete product deterioration based on the patient's preferences. The necessary durability and effectiveness are accomplished by altering the length of the polymer chain. The smooth texture allows for proper injection, resulting in a soft implant with immediate and long-term effects. For maximum biocompatibility, the microparticles have a smooth surface and a round form. ELLANS is a soft, fully absorbable polymer based on polycaprolactone (PLC).
For decades, PLC has been employed in medicinal applications.
