Rejuran S and Healer are composed of polyneucleotides (PNs), which stimulate fibroblast and collagen production, thereby promoting skin cell growth. Their DNA fragments, or PN chains, stimulate collagen formation and repair damaged dermal cells. Rejuran S is more potent and thicker in viscosity, making it superior for treating acne scars.

How does Rejuran S work to treat acne scars, and how does it do so?

Rejuran S reduces acne scarring by stimulating collagen production and repairing skin structure. Its viscosity and gel-like texture act as a filler for sunken scars while rejuvenating the dermis. Inflammation and cyst formation damage the skin's collagen fibres, and when the body fails to fully heal, the result can be twisted bands, sunken/dragged down scars, and shape changes. Rejuran S's renewing power aids in reversing the effects of these scars!

Will there be downtime?

Rejuran S injections beneath the skin with subcision have a 2-3 day downtime of minor injection marks. Light bruising may also be seen with more intense subcisions. Rejuran S treatment requires 3-5 days of downtime, depending on the energy settings used, and may cause mild redness and flaking as the skin renews itself.

How often should I get Rejuran S done?

To reduce acne scarring, three to four Rejuran S treatments spaced one month apart are recommended.
