Allergan Laboratories' Juvéderm Ultra 3 is a thick, multi-purpose hyaluronic acid gel. It is used to treat wrinkles ranging from mild to severe, such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines, as well as thin, undefined lips. This Juvéderm Ultra filler restores volume and revitalises the skin, providing a non-surgical solution to facial creases and other aesthetic concerns.

Juvéderm Ultra 3 smoothes creases and lines, reduces wrinkles and increases volume. Its soft texture allows for easy and even application to the skin. Lidocaine is added for extra comfort.

Juvéderm Ultra 3 is a hyaluronic acid gel with a concentration of 24 mg/ml (24%), 3 mg/ml (0.3%) lidocaine hydrochloride, and 1ml of phosphate buffer, pH 7.2; it comes with four 27G1/2 needles and two 1ml pre-filled syringes. It is used to treat moderate facial wrinkles such as nasolabial folds, peribuccal wrinkles, bitterness, lip coating and volume expansion, and other areas.

Usage: You can use the 27G needle to treat smile lines, also known as parentheses or nasolabial folds that extend from the nose to the corners of the mouth, marionette lines that give the appearance of a frown and vertical lines between the nose and lips.

Procedure for application:

This treatment must be administered by a trained professional. Juvederm ULTRA 3 is a medical device that should only be used by a skilled hyaluronic acid-based filler injector. The procedure could be completed in less than 15 minutes. With the presence of lidocaine, a thin needle is used to inject the product into the mid or deep layers of the skin, delivering a relaxing experience. The effects are immediate and can last up to 12 months, depending on age and amount injected. Please keep in mind that this product is not for everyone.

Minors, pregnant women, and those who are breastfeeding should avoid using this product, as should those who have skin inflammation or a history of allergies. Use with caution on infected or inflamed skin, as well as areas where permanent fillers have previously been injected.

When there is a significant inflammatory reaction from superficial peeling after laser treatment, thorough chemical peeling, or dermabrasion, Juvederm Ultra should not be used. Additionally, those with hyaluronic acid hypersensitivity, autoimmune disease, or a history of chronic streptococcal infections should not use it.
