Hymovis

Introducing Hymovis. This sterile, pyrogen-free hydrogel is formulated with Hyadd4 (highly purified sodium hyaluronate-hexadecylamide derived from bacterial fermentation) in a buffered isotonic solution.

Indications:
It is indicated for the treatment of joint pain associated with osteoarthritis and for enhancing joint mobility by increasing the viscoelasticity of synovial fluid.

Sterilization and Administration:
- Sterilized by steam and EtO.
- Intended solely for intra-articular injection.
- Administration must be performed exclusively by a physician.
- The syringe’s external sterility allows for intra-articular injections even in an operating room setting.
- A treatment course consists of two injections administered one week apart.
- Due to its viscosity, the product should be injected slowly into the joint using a suitable sterile needle (18 or 20 G).
- All aseptic administration techniques must be strictly followed.
- If an effusion is present, it should be removed from the joint before administration.

Hymovis Composition:
- Main Components: Hyadd4 (sodium hyaluronate-hexadecylamide), 24 mg/3 ml.
- Other Components: Sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, water for injections.

Product Details:
- Contains no animal materials or derivatives used in the manufacturing process.
- Contains no human blood derivatives or components used in the manufacturing process.

- Packaged in 2 pre-filled Luer-Lock syringes.
