Hyalubrix SIR 30 MG
Hyalubrix SIR 30 MG
Hyalubrix SIR 30 MG is a sterile, pyrogen-free, viscoelastic solution of hyaluronic acid sodium salt, derived from high molecular weight fractions (>1500 kDa) through bacterial fermentation. Hyaluronic acid, a polysaccharide belonging to the glycosaminoglycan family, is naturally present in various human tissues like cartilage and synovial fluid. It plays a crucial role in maintaining the viscosity and elasticity of synovial fluid, making it vital for lubrication, shock absorption, and protecting cartilage and soft tissues from mechanical damage.
In conditions such as post-traumatic and degenerative joint diseases, the concentration of hyaluronic acid in the synovial fluid decreases, leading to reduced viscosity, functional limitations, and pain. Extensive research suggests that supplementing hyaluronic acid can restore the viscoelastic properties of synovial fluid, alleviate pain, and enhance joint mobility.
Indications:
HYALUBRRIX is recommended for relieving pain and improving joint function in patients suffering from degenerative or mechanical arthropathy in the knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, and trapeziometacarpal joint for up to six months. It is particularly suited for patients who have not responded to analgesics or cannot use non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs due to failure or intolerance.
Composition:
The product contains 1.5% hyaluronic acid sodium salt. Other ingredients include sodium chloride, dibasic sodium phosphate 12H20, monobasic sodium phosphate 2H20, and water for injections.
Warnings:
HYALUBRRIX should not be administered to patients with known sensitivities to any of its components, or in cases where there is an infection or skin disease at the injection site. While animal studies suggest no toxic effects on reproduction and development, HYALUBRRIX has not been tested in pregnant women. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or beyond its expiry date. The expiry date is valid only when the product is stored in its original packaging at temperatures not exceeding 25°C.
Hyalubrix SIR 30 MG is designed for single use and should only be used on one patient. Syringes and needles must be disposed of immediately after use, even if not all the solution has been administered. Dispose of according to applicable regulations and keep out of reach of children.
Side Effects:
Local reactions such as pain, swelling, warmth, and redness at the injection site may occur but are generally mild and temporary. Severe inflammatory responses and the rare formation of sodium pyrophosphate crystals have been reported following intra-articular injections of hyaluronate. Septic arthritis is a rare possibility if injection precautions are not adhered to or if the injection site is not aseptic.
Interactions:
Avoid using HYALUBRRIX with disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium salts, as it can cause the hyaluronic acid to precipitate. Co-administration with other products should be avoided to prevent potential interactions.
Storage:
Store at temperatures not exceeding 25°C. The product has a shelf life of 18 months when the packaging remains intact.
HYALUBRRIX is intended for professional use only.
