Fillicia

Fillicia is an injectable product made of porous, uniformly sized biodegradable microspheres, used as a collagen stimulator. It is available as Fillicia 200mg, Fillicia Sigma 200 or Fillicia 1000.

Technology

• Porous microparticles: each particle has multiple pores on its surface, which the manufacturer links to faster collagen stimulation and gradual breakdown.
• Uniform particle size produced by the manufacturer's own platform technology.
• Made from a biodegradable polymer that the manufacturer states degrades in the body over about 24 months.

• Face: forehead, nasolabial folds, cheeks and marionette lines
• Neck and décolleté
• Body: buttocks and other areas with volume loss or scarring

Administration

• Course: 3 sessions, one per month
• Dose: 1 to 5 vials per session depending on the area
• Volume per area: face 2.5–5 ml; neck and décolleté 1.5–3 ml; body 2.5–10 ml
• Technique: fanning technique with a 23–25G cannula, subcutaneous

According to the manufacturer, collagen-related changes become visible about 3–4 weeks after injection, and the effect can last up to 24 months.
