Social Media Manager Internship

We are searching for an ambitious Social Media Manager Intern to oversee our skincare dermal filler online store. As a talented Social Media Manager Intern, you will administer the social media accounts for our online store, premiumdermalmart.com. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing a social media strategy aligned with our business goals, creating engaging content, monitoring web traffic metrics and SEO, collaborating with other teams to ensure brand consistency, responding to customer queries in a timely manner, and suggesting new features to develop brand awareness. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content management, copywriting, SEO, online marketing, and web design while contributing creatively to our company’s growth. A degree in Marketing or a relevant field is preferred but not required as long as you have a passion for digital marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a social media strategy: You will be responsible for creating a comprehensive social media plan that aligns with our business goals and objectives. This may include choosing which platforms to use, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and setting timelines for campaigns.
  • Create engaging content: You will need to generate original text, photos, videos, and other types of content that will capture our audience’s attention and keep them engaged. This requires excellent copywriting skills, creativity, and knowledge of current social media trends.
  • Monitor web traffic metrics and SEO: Using tools like Google Analytics, you will track how our website is performing in terms of traffic and search engine optimization (SEO). This information will help us adjust our strategy as needed to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with other teams: You will work closely with different departments such as marketing, sales, customer service to ensure brand consistency across all channels. This may involve coordinating promotions or contests or responding to inquiries from customers.
  • Respond to customer queries in a timely manner: One important aspect of this role is interacting with customers on social media channels promptly and respectfully. You should have excellent communication skills and be comfortable handling customer feedback.
  • Suggest new features to develop brand awareness: As you become more familiar with our brand, product line, and target audience, we expect you to make recommendations for new features or campaigns that can help increase brand awareness.

Requirements and Skills:

Good to have Social Media Manager skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Social media manager
  • Hands-on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills

More Information:

The internship will ideally last between 3 to 6 months. You must commit to working 20 hours per week from Monday through Friday for at least 4 hours per day. Daily tasks can take from 2 to 4 hours. Your team will consist of other interns and a manager.

Please note that this is an unpaid internship. Upon completion of the internship, we will provide you with a reference letter and certificate. Since this is a remote internship, you will have flexible working hours with great growth opportunities.
